Micromix Containers

Use our Micromix aluminium containers confidently in the microwave.

How to Safely Use Micromix Aluminium in a Microwave:

  • Only use shallow containers (no more than 3cm deep) to ensure proper heating.
  • Cover with a plate or microwave-safe cling film; do not use aluminium foil.
  • Avoid contact with other metal objects in the microwave to prevent arcing.
  • Cook items one at a time, placing the container on an oven-safe glass plate.
  • Increase cooking time by 10% to allow for the single-surface energy absorption.
  • Do not use damaged containers and recycle them after washing.

Lids: Our plastic lids are made from PET, adhering to international standards. Combination packs of containers and lids are available. Contact our representatives for more details on PET lids and combination packs.

Rim Styles

Rims are made in different styles to meet the specific requirements of the container.

The rim styles offered are illustrated below. Vertical flange, hemmed edge, full curl vertical and interrupted vertical rim styles can accommodate rigid lids although in some cases, snap-on lids can be provided for full curl containers.

Raw Vertical Flange
Crimped down over the lid for a tight closure, providing extra strength.

Interrupted Vertical Curl
Offers maximum strength and a tight closure, suitable for rectangular and square containers.

Heat Seal Curl
Ideal for smooth wall containers, providing a flat surface for heat-sealed covers.

Full Curl (Slightly Raised)
Prevents spillage while adding strength and rigidity.

Full Curl
Offers maximum protection and rigidity, suitable for high-speed dispensing machines.
